In 2005, two friends and I had an idea of making it easier for people to shop online. That idea became Klarna, which today is the most valued fintech company in Europe. With 85 million shoppers and 205 000 retailers in our family, Klarna is the biggest Buy Now Pay Later company in the world. And we are far from done. We are growing like crazy, especially in the US where we saw a +230% growth in retailers in 2019. Some of the biggest e-commerce players have joined us on our journey, such as H&M, Ticketmaster, ASOS and Footlocker. 15 years later, I am still the CEO of Klarna, and I am still as passionate about the business. Through these years, Klarna has become so much more than just a payment provider. With us, you will get a true partnership.
