He holds a PhD in Economics, and was awarded scholarships by both the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Swiss National Foundation. Magnus was a soldier in the German Army (Hochzug, Mittenwald), and for twelve years stadium speaker at an ATP Tennis Championship. In 2014 he was awarded Germany’s most prestigious social media prize "The Golden Umberto" for his infamous “Idautit” viral video. Magnus lives and works in New York City.
