Dutch tech is thriving. The Netherlands is home to some of the biggest and most groundbreaking tech companies in Europe, such as Adyen, Takeaway.com, or Mollie. More so, the Dutch ecosystem has been recently recognised as the ‘Hottest Tech Hub’ in Europe in 2021. While we are proud to see the prosperity of our tech ecosystem, we recognise the untapped potential that the Netherlands has yet to seize. Deep tech financing, the talent pool and the major gaps in early stage funding are just some of the existing hurdles we need to act upon, if we want to remain competitive as an economy and relevant as a nation.
