Why you should listen

I'm one of the lucky ones. I knew what I wanted to do at a very young age. Although I didn't perhaps realise it would involve walking up the only (but very steep) hill in Lincoln at 5am each morning, still, it was how I started my career as the breakfast show broadcast assistant at BBC Radio Lincolnshire. It was what gave me a love of talking to people and hearing their stories. So now, that's what I do. Alongside freelance work for national newspapers and supplements, I am the Editor-in-Chief at The Fintech Times. My background spans digital marketing, content creation, PR and more. Despite being told to develop a niche, my varied background takes me to new and interesting places on a weekly basis - and I love it! I realise that some of my skillsets are quite unique, so I'd like to share my knowledge. I'm currently developing four short courses aimed at journalists and PRs who want to find stories and contacts via social media. They will be launching shortly although I do teach on ad hoc basis currently, feel free to get in touch if you're looking for a speaker. I teach media relations on the PR MA at the University of Lincoln and hope to continue teaching where I can, it’s a real passion of mine. So, if you're looking for a journalist, a strategist, a speaker, a lecturer or just someone to help you launch your latest project in one of my specialist areas - get in touch. I'm gina@ginaclarke.media and @ginadav on Twitter.
