David Olsson is the Global Head of Distribution at BlockFi. He started his career in proprietary trading at a hedge fund, Caxton, and later moved to Merrill Lynch where he spent time in New York and London and managed a structured financing and structured products desk. At Merrill Lynch, he launched several businesses including an innovative managed account platform for fund-linked derivatives that raised in excess of $1 billion in AUM. He then moved to Credit Suisse, where he also led an Equity Derivative
